Flaccidity
Sagging occurs when there is a lack of firmness and volume in the skin, giving it a “sagging” appearance. The two most common causes of sagging skin are the passage of time and an unhealthy lifestyle. It can manifest itself without cellulite.
Changes in weight, pregnancy and, above all, aging also play a role. Sometimes it is constitutional or pathological, as in certain skin hyperlaxity syndromes, and occurs in young patients who have had no weight changes or pregnancies.
It is usually more visible on the arms, abdomen, inner thighs, knees and buttocks.
