Collagen biostimulators
Polycaprolactone microspheres is a collagen biostimulator. It is injected into the dermis to lift, sculpt and restore lost volume associated with skin aging. Its main component is polycaprolactone microspheres (PCL), a resorbable medical polymer. PCL is suspended in a carrier gel made of carboxymethylcellulose.
The results are gradual and long lasting, achieving a natural and youthful appearance.
Treatment characteristics
When injected into the skin, it reverses the aging process in a two-step process:
- Methylcellulose gel offers immediate lifting and shaping results. However, the gel lasts approximately 12 weeks.
- At the same time the polycaprolactone microspheres begin to stimulate collagen production in the skin, thus improving skin quality.
In contrast to procedures with hyaluronic acid, which lifts due to its gel-like rheological properties, collagen biostimulators act by stimulating the body to produce collagen.
- The result lasts from 2 to 4 years. Its main advantages are:
- Safety and durability
- Instant results
- Reposition volumes
- Recovers collagen
- Subtle and natural results
